I am so excited to announce the opportunity for one lucky reader to win a free one year subscription to BYOU - Be Your Own You - Magazine (a $17.97 value.) My girls and I read an issue last night and we loved BYOU.  The girls loved the articles and I thought it was a wonderful magazine for girls to read.  If you have not seen BYOU Magazine yet, it is a magazine that helps girls see the good in themselves.  It is a magazine that will make them feel good about themselves, self esteem is very important in a girl's well being.

What I liked about BYOU Magazine (ok I really liked a lot of things about it, but here are some awesome things to mention) is how wonderful it made my girls feel and how my girls started to think about all the great things about themselves while reading it.  My girls are beautiful and we tell them all the time, but now they were understanding that beauty is not all about looks.  When I tell them that they don't always listen, but reading about other girls gave them more of an understanding of true beauty.  We read about girls just like them that shared their stories about their passions and how their passions made them beautiful inside and out.

It is awesome that BYOU Magazine interviews young stars that share their ideas of real beauty starting from the inside.  There was also a column for girls to ask Allisyn Arm and Audrey Whitby (from So Random) questions they may have, including problems with friends or other concerns they may have in the girl world.  I really enjoyed this magazine and think it is a great read for girls to help them boost their self esteem!

What my girls liked about BYOU Magazine is the stories from the girls just like them and the interview with Jessica Jarrell.  My oldest insisted I get her a subscription after reading it and her exact words were " Mom, I love it! Can I get it? Please, please, please?" She also wanted to enter their free gifts giveaway :)

I am so happy that we found BYOU Magazine, it is a very positive magazine!

  1. What a great magazine for young people. There does not seem to be a lot out there for kids that is positive.

    1. You are welcome! When I was younger I wanted to learn the piano, but I was involved with playing the alto saxophone and it took up a lot of my time between concert band, marching band and jazz band :)
