An Easy Way to Save Money for the Family

Coupon CatCoupon Cat (Photo credit: money for fun things in life can be hard.  Many times we struggle with the day to day expenses and then family fun gets put in the back seat.  Sure you want to take the kids on vacation or take the day trips to the amusement parks, but how are you going to get the money for it? I am not a money saving expert, but this is a great idea I learned from my Aunt.  She has bought a huge flat screen TV and paid for her new deck by doing this.  She has been able to pay for many things her and my Uncle wanted with this technique.

The answer to being able to save money for family fun is in the coupons.  The coupons you use in the store every time you go grocery shopping.  If you do not use coupons, you should start! Now I am not an extreme couponer.  I use them but I am not an expert at it.  But here is where these coupons can help you save money for your family fun.

All the money you saved with the coupons, put into a jar.  Say you had 10 coupons and they totaled $11.  When you get home, take that $11 and put it in a jar.  Every time you go to the store, put the amount you saved into this jar.  You will be surprised how much money you saved by the end of the year! My Aunt has been doing this for a long time and only uses it on things her and my Uncle want.

It can be otherwise hard to save, I know-trust me! Have fun and take the family somewhere really cool with your "extra cash."
